Cornelia, a German national, has almost 35 years experience in the hospitality industry, she first joined Rezidor in 1978 as a Director of Housekeeping at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel. Over the next 35 years Cornelia worked in several positions worldwide, gaining a wealth of managerial experience across the hotel industry. Cornelia's first General Manager position was in 2005 at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Cornelia is no stranger to the Middle East market,
she first moved to the UAE as General Manager for the pre-opening of the Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina in early 2007.
She was then appointed General Manager of the Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort in Aqaba, Jordan in August 2009. Cornelia has been working as General Manager of the Radisson Blu Resort in Fujairah, UAE, since September 2011, her most recent position. In her new role, Cornelia will further guide and lead her team to further establish Radisson Royal Hotel as a successful 5* property amongst the city's competitive landscape.
