Indian Housekeepers Club (IHC), one of the largest associations of housekeepers in India, celebrated West Bengal Housekeepers Meet at the HHI Kolkata on Nov 13, 2012. The event was sponsored by Karcher Cleaning Systems Pvt Ltd.
The programme commenced with the inaugural lamp lit by D K Jaiswal, Chairman and Managing Director, HHI; G K Srivastava,
National President, IHC; Deepak Bahl, Secretary, West Bengal Tourism Council; Krishna Ghosh, Prominent EHK, Hotel Sonar Bangala ITC; Suparna Sarkar, Operational Manager, Hotel Vedic Village etc., along with other VIP personalities.
‘Taking Housekeeping beyond Housekeeping’ topic was discussed at the event. Housekeepers from hotels, hospital, Institute of Hotel Management & Facilities, among others from the state had participated. Prior to this, IHC had launched Bengaluru Housekeepers Meet on October 11, 2012 in Bengaluru.
