The concept behind the portal is to offer an advanced database where recruiters can view candidature of chefs and directly connect with them. The current database has more than 7,000 profiles; each verified and sifted by domain experts. With up-to-date technology,
the website provides quick and accurate recruitment solutions to clients. As it is a technical field, the team comprises chefs, and food and beverage professionals. The chefs’ team is headed by Chef Harpreet Singh, while the HR team is headed by Kenneth Walter Benjamine.
Onlychefs.co.in facilitates posting of a job opening, searching for resumes, gives the option of ‘Make my kitchen’, and head hunting. The website caters to all segments of the industry, be it a small restaurant or a five-star hotel. The website also helps bring together a culinary team for new and upcoming hospitality destinations. It also facilitates recruiters outside India looking for chefs.
Recruiters need to pay only for the resume downloaded, which could be Rs 1,000 for a chef of Indian origin based in India. Recruiters can also post job openings at minimum Rs 2,500. The portal has packages starting from Rs 5,000 in which the recruiter gets to post two jobs on the site. Onlychefs.co.in has its own kitchen, based in Delhi, where chefs can be tested at food trials. The panel of chefs can determine the chefs’ capabilities and pass on the food trail reports to the recruiters concerned.
