Prior to this move, he had spent three years at Ritz Carlton San Francisco, after having joined the company in 1993, when he started his career at Ritz Carlton Cancun. He worked his way up to senior management, and finally to general manager, and then moved to other properties in the US,
Caribbean and China. This is Salcido’s first position in the Middle East.
“It’s an extremely exciting time to be joining The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai as the hotel prepares its new extension, in what will be a turning point for five-star beachfront hospitality as we introduce a raft of new luxury experiences to the market,” he said.
