NEWS| Starwood Hotels mulls launching Four Points by Sheraton in Berlin in 2014

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. plans to introduce its Four Points by Sheraton brand in Berlin in 2014. Owned by Proprietas s.r.o., Four Points by Sheraton Berlin Airport will be the third for the brand in Germany. This new-build hotel will be located adjacent to a new business park and just a few kilometres from Berlin Brandenburg International Airport,
which is currently under construction in Germany’s capital city. The signing of Four Points by Sheraton Berlin Airport is part of Starwood’s expansion strategy to open more than 25 hotels across Europe over the next four years. The new hotel will feature 253 guest rooms, two restaurants, a lobby bar, a 24-hour fitness centre, a meeting and event space and a fully-equipped business centre. The hotel will also feature free wi-fi in all public areas, reflecting the brand’s promise and insight into the needs of today’s traveller. Roeland Vos, President - Europe, Africa, and Middle East, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are delighted to partner with E&O Hotels as we introduce the Four Points by Sheraton brand in Berlin. Growing the Four Points by Sheraton brand in key European markets, where we see strong demand for affordable yet innovative lodging options, is core to our development strategy.” Assaf Onn, CEO, E&O Hotels said, “With easy access to what is expected to become one of Germany’s most important airports, this hotel will undoubtedly become a major attraction for business travellers who appreciate modern hotel facilities at a moderate price.”
