Rational, which provides its customer a solution concept to run the catering business more efficiently, has introduced a new catering kit for all SelfCookingCenter and CombiMaster units of the types 61/101 and 62/102 manufactured since 2004. The new system enables caterers to transport their table-top units effortlessly and safely.
It can be mounted underneath the unit instead of the feet. It comprises a sturdy supporting frame and stainless steel feet. Carrying handles on the sides are both for protection and to ensure the caterer can transport the unit even to places which are difficult to access, such as upper floors.
In combination with an additional stand with extra-large wheels, the units can now be moved easily even on uneven surfaces such as roads. The frame is reinforced at the side and thus very well protected. The rack rails in the stand have been designed in such a way that the GN accessories cannot slide out during transport. In addition, special fittings secure the unit during transport.
“Thanks to our new mobile system, events at different locations can be realised even more easily and flexibly, because caterers no longer have to do without their trusted Rational technology even when working outside their own kitchen. They can now simply take their units along,” said Gerhard Kramer, Product Manager at Rational.
