THIGI.
This agreement, in addition to a number of developments and the expansion of several international hotel brands in the Newport property, is expected to propel RWM’s position as the prime tourism hotspot in Asia, catering to the growing influx of international visitors to the country with five prime hotels in its all-in-one mix-used complex in the next few years.
Aside from the Hilton Worldwide partnership, other numerous investment undertakings were also initiated by THIGI during the Grand Fiesta 2012 signing ceremonies held on November 23, 2012, including noteworthy projects with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide which would usher in the construction of two deluxe hotels, 350-room Sheraton Hotel in Resorts World Manila and 600-room Westin Hotel in the anticipated Resorts World Manila Bayshore at the Entertainment City complex in the Manila Bay Area.
With the projects being undertaken by THIGI plus the other hotels that will be built by its parent company, Alliance Global Group, Inc., an estimated 5,000 hotel rooms will be added to the Philippines’ hotel room inventory in five years. This grand expansion plan supports the country’s continuously booming tourism industry.
