Following graduation from Assiut University in Egypt, Mohamed took advanced courses in English and Hotel Services at the American University in Cairo before embarking on a career in hospitality as a Reservation Agent at the Semiramis InterContinental Hotel in the city. He then moved on to the Mövenpick Resort & Spa El Gouna as Reservations Supervisor and later became Reservations & Duty Manager in charge of Revenue Management at the InterContinental Abu Soma, a position he held for two years.
After a year at the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel in Hurghada, Mohamed moved overseas with a posting to the Arabian Gulf where he joined the Al Raha Beach Hotel in Abu Dhabi – spending four years with the hotel, first as Reservations Manager before he was promoted to Associate Revenue Manager and then Revenue Manager.
