IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, has launched its 150th IHG Academy in China.
Globally, the IHG Academy Programme partners with community organisations and education providers to offer skills development and improve local employment prospects. The IHG Academy Programme has grown rapidly since its inception and now operates in 37 countries around the globe, with 84 partners established in Asia Pacific,
Middle East and Africa.
The 150th IHG Academy in China is being delivered in partnership with Pu’er University of South West China’s Yunnan Province, in conjunction with the Crowne Plaza Xishuangbanna. The programme will look to train and develop hospitality and tourism managers in the market, such that they develop the right skills in order to support IHG’s rapid expansion across the country.

** Similarly, the IHG Academy Programme is available through the Madinah College of Tourism in Saudi Arabia. Across the Middle East, IHG Academy programmes are also available in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon and United Arab Emirates.
** Similarly the IHG Academy Programme is available through the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Singapore. Across South East Asia, IHG Academy programmes are also available in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia.
