Marriott International, Inc recently opened the 323-room Shanghai Marriott Hotel Pudong East under a long-term management agreement with Shanghai Hengchang Industry Co. Ltd. The Shanghai Marriott Hotel Pudong East is the brand’s 14th hotel in China.
The hotel offers business travellers an array of amenities and facilities. The hotel concierge and ‘At Your Service’ hotline provides guests with information and advice for exploring and discovering the city.
Guests staying on the executive floor have access to the 21stfloor lounge. The hotel features four food and beverage options providing guests with a variety of local and international culinary delights. Man Ho, the signature Chinese restaurant of Marriott Hotels & Resorts, features Cantonese and Shanghai cuisine, and offers private dining rooms. Casalingo offers authentic Italian dishes from antipasto, home-made pasta, stone-oven cooked pizza to gelato, as well as a great selection of Italian wine and coffee. Pudong City Bistro offers a variety of international dishes, while The Lounge is an ideal venue for informal business meetings and casual social activities.
The hotel offers 1,705 square metres of banquet space, including a 655-square-metre divisible and pillar-free grand ballroom, together with another ten function rooms. The hotel’s recreational facilities include a fully-equipped fitness centre with a 22-metre heated indoor swimming pool.
