Vasundhara Sarovar Premiere, Vayalar received the Best Upcoming Spa Resort in Kerala Award at World Travel Brands, recently held in New Delhi. These awards recognise service provider brands that contribute in transforming the global travel industry. The award was received by Vasudevan, Promoter, Vasundhara Sarovar Premiere,
Vayalar, along with his son Prashant Vasudevan. Commenting on the award, Anil Madhok, Managing Director, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, said, “To receive this award in the first year of operations is very encouraging. Nominations for the awards were invited from India, USA, UK, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, France, Canada, and Singapore from individuals, brands and organisations present in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. The entries were evaluated on parameters such as brand features, pricing, industry feedback, consumer feedback, online feedback, and brand awareness. It also included online and physical opinion surveys of industry experts, peers in the industry, travel and hospitality journalists, online travel forums, etc. The voting was open to general public as well.
