Job Description
The incumbent will supervise the operation, maintenance and repair of hotel equipment, tools and facilities. He will oversee the work of maintenance engineers and generally hold at least an associate's degree in building maintenance or equivalent work experience. Aside from maintenance duties, he may also be responsible for coordinating with contractors on renovations, remodels and new construction. He will direct the maintenance staff on small repairs, such as patching drywall, fixing faulty wiring or unclogging drains. More complex problems may require the chief engineer to consult blueprints or product manuals in order to fix boilers or air-conditioning motors. His primary duty of a hotel chief engineer is to ensure the smooth daily operation and guest appeal of the hotel.

Education:
(UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Electrical, Mechanical) AND (PG - Post Graduation Not Required, Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization) AND ( Doctorate - Doctorate Not Required)
The Candidate must have a mechanical or electrical engineering degree from a premier institute, with 15 - 20 years of relevant experience including 2 3 years in independently handling the engineering department in a senior technical capacity at a leading hotel.
