The Fern Hotels & Resorts, of Concept Hospitality Pvt Ltd organised a four-day Familiarisation (FAM) tour of its Gujarat properties to promote its Meetings, Incentives, Conventions/Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE) services. Fourteen leading MICE specialists from Mumbai were hosted on the three-city tour of Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Sasan Gir that took place from April 6-9, 2013.
“India’s MICE segment is looking for a change, with demand growing for off-sites and mid-sized events. We have the largest network of hotels in Gujarat and are in the perfect position to cater to both the meeting and incentive demands of MICE,” said Sarosh Khatib, Senior Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Concept Hospitality Pvt Ltd.
Organised in partnership with Indigo Airlines, the itinerary included overnight stays at The Fern, Ahmedabad (five-star), The Fern Residency, Rajkot (four-star) and The Fern Gir Forest Resort, Sasan Gir (five-star); local sight seeing and a lion safari, the hallmark of the Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary.
