The Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Government of India is set to organise roadshows in Saudi Arabia next week to attract high-end tourists to some of India’s exotic locations and showcase its upscale tourism product offerings. The roadshows revolving around the theme ‘Find What You Seek’ will be held in Jeddah on May 19 followed by Riyadh on May 21 and in Dammam on May 22, as per a PTI report. The Indian delegation to these roadshows is being led by Parvez Dewan, Secretary – Tourism, Government of India who is accompanied by the representatives of various state governments along with major destination managers, tour operators, hoteliers and airlines.
“The roadshows are aimed at taking tourism cooperation between the two countries to the next level. West Asia and particularly Saudi Arabia is one of the main source markets for Inbound Tourism in India.
