Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced addition of a new convention centre to Radisson Blu Hotel, Alexandria. Set to open in June 2014, the new 3,600 square metres centre will complement the hotel's existing 500 square metres of meeting space making it one of the largest facilities of its kind in Egypt.

The new-build centre, which covers two floors, will include a 2,500 sqm ballroom along with five flexible meeting rooms, a bride's room and an indoor car park. It will be fully supported by catering facilities with the ability to cater for receptions, weddings, conferences or board meetings.
