Stan Iliev has been promoted to general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Valparaiso, Ind. Previously, Iliev was the operations manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Midway in Bedford Park, Illi. Iliev joined White Lodging in 2011 as the front desk manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Midway.

Prior to his experience with White Lodging, he was a restaurant manager at Avanti Bar & Grill at a Courtyard by Marriott in Oklahoma City and a restaurant supervisor at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club in Oklahoma.
