One of Scotland’s most picturesque hotels has tripled in size after a £1 million funding support package from Bank of Scotland.
The Bridge of Orchy hotel, situated close to the West Highland Way in Argyll, has been redeveloped to add an additional 23 bedrooms to meet visitor demand at its stunning tourist friendly location.
The four star hotel, previously offered 10 high standard bedrooms and an adjacent bunkhouse, which provided additional budget accommodation.
Of the new bedrooms, 21 have been built in a courtyard extension to high-spec in the form of highly engineered units clad in Scottish larch and steel. These units occupy the space of the former old bunkhouse. In addition, two large suites have been created through the conversion of an adjacent building.
A wide selection of Scottish art will also be displayed throughout the hotel, with different pieces in each room.
