OCS Group, one of UK’s leading facilities services provider, with presence in over 40 countries, recently announced a tie up with India’s leading budget hotel brand Ginger Hotels. The tie-up will ensure that OCS offers total facility management services to Ginger Hotels across the country. Talking about their first venture in the Indian hospitality segment, Sheldon Simon, Managing Director, Radiant Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd, and an executive management team member of the OCS Group said, “India is a potential market. However, this is a labour intensive job where growth is slow, we are working hard, going step by step at the moment.”
The Group has recently invested Rs 200 crore in best-in-class high quality service providers in India such as Radiant Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd (housekeeping), Absotherm Facilities Management Pvt Ltd (engineering), Cannon Hygiene India Pvt Ltd (hygiene and sanitation) and Central Investigation & Security Services Ltd (security services). The OCS Group, which employs approximately 22,000 people across various operations in India, is currently looking at developing new client base in the Indian market. “India is a powerhouse in the global economy and soon will be a major contributor to our global turnover. We are targeting the hospitality market, which is huge and has the potential to generate large revenue volumes for us in India.
We can now directly deliver core facilities management services such as engineering, cleaning, hygiene, security and other facility management services to Indian clients without appointing multiple subcontractors,” informed, Chris Cracknell, Chief Executive Officer, OCS Group.
