Just two months ago, Value Hotel Worldwide announced it was developing the first upscale hotel and the largest of any kind in the newly created city of Sejong, South Korea. Today, it announced a second development of a new-construction, high-end Value Hotel Worldwide in the city of Suwon, located just 22 miles south of Seoul.
A highly industrialized business area, Suwon is the headquarters of Samsung Electronics, as well as many other large corporations and manufacturers. The Value Hotel Worldwide, located just steps away from Samsung's doors,
will cater to both domestic and international business travelers.
The 20-floor, 300-room hotel includes five floors of underground parking, shops, offices, restaurants, and lounges. Amenities include an exercise room/spa, meeting space, banquet facilities, Wi-Fi in guest rooms and public areas and the latest technology. This new construction hotel is expected to open in December of this year.
Last December, Vantage Hospitality Group, Inc., the 8th largest hotel company worldwide, announced that it had entered into a master license agreement with Service Legend Inc., to introduce the Value Inn Worldwide and Value Hotel Worldwide brands to South Korea.
And that agreement is clearly producing tremendous results.
According to Joon Park, the CEO of Service Legend and a principal of the master licensee for AHLEI in South Korea, there is a very strong need for upscale lodging throughout South Korea. "Business and manufacturing within South Korea continue to grow exponentially and the need for superior, upscale lodging, especially for our international business travelers, has never been stronger. Value Hotel Worldwide is the perfect fit for this quickly emerging and expanding niche."
