An industry veteran, Metcalf-Sobczak has more than 20 years of hotel experience. She joined Loews Hotels in 2007 as director of national accounts for the Loews Don Cesar Hotel and was responsible for selling the 277-room, historic hotel in the Southeast market. In Metcalf-Sobczak’s new role, she will oversee branded sales efforts in Florida, Georgia,
North and South Carolina.
Prior to joining the company, she held a variety of sales management positions in Florida with such prestigious hotels as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront. Metcalf-Sobczak and her husband, Scott, will be relocating to Atlanta.
