With the aim of providing an appropriate Forum to the budding hospitality executives to display their potential & also have an opportunity to refine & enrich the same, the Premier and Mega event of Hospitality Education Sector – Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble 2013, will be starting on 25th September 2013. With an estimate of 30 to 35 teams comprising of around 300 students from different parts of the country and beyond, this event will cover of a large number of competitions directly connected with various aspects of Hospitality Industry & Education Sector.

These exciting events will showcase the heights of creativity, innovation & talent of the future hoteliers which is in no way lesser than the real world practitioners. With an objective of bringing conventional and ethnic food into the forefront of Culinary World, Rediscovering- Indian Cuisine Challenge 2013 shall be the new attraction of this year’s competition, where students will be exploring dishes of the past phases of the Indian History. It will be an irresistible invitation to “A Journey - Cruising Through The Taste Of History”.

 This Flavor Voyage through the Ages will be giving the message of “Integrating Country through the History of Food and Culture and leading India’s Traditional Food to the Future. The event will give opportunity to the students to explore dishes of the past phases of the Indian History. “Food Saga through the Ages” will be the theme for the dinner at Valedictory Function comprising of food journey from Ancient period to Medieval, Colonial and finally destined to the Modern, Contemporary food era. Like previous year, this year too Master Chef Competition of Indian Culinary Forum is also being held in the Campus.

 The support extended by Indian Culinary Forum has boosted the morale of the participating institutions. Being impressed with the competitions, number of participating teams and the standard maintained throughout the event, various hotels have come forward to support the Ensemble.

 Appreciating the support from the industry Mr. R.K.Bhandari, Principal, BCIHMCT feels that this event is one of the best examples of active interface between Industry-Institution and could work more effectively in future in other areas of concern towards academic excellence, new innovations and improvement in quality for which BCIHMCT has always been at the forefront.

 The spirit to compete and interest shown by the participants from all corners of the country and beyond is encouraging. The 12th Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble 2013 will conclude on 27th September 2013. Learning and training to excel and sharing the expertise of others will be best at this ensemble.
