The owner of a hotel in central Kolkata on Sunday lodged a complaint with the police saying that one of his employees has decamped with Rs 9 lakh from his hotel.
Shami Kapoor, the owner of Kapoor Cottage at Lenin Sarani, alleged in his complaint with the New Market police that his employee Rajendra Parida alias Raju took away the money from the hotel's cash box. No arrest has been made so far. The incident took place at 3.30 p.m.
