JW Marriott Brand Debuts Two New India Properties Weeks Apart

Marriott International, Inc.'s (NASDAQ: MAR) global luxury brand JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts is continuing to grow it's India portfolio with the opening of two new hotels – in Bengaluru and New Delhi –within weeks of each other.


These will be JW Marriott brand's fourth and fifth hotels in India, and 61st and 62nd properties worldwide. Overlooking the plush 300-acre Cubbon Park, the five-star hotel boasts 297 rooms and suites, including one Presidential Suite, and features a collection of Indian artwork curated by Geetu Hinduja, director of The Fine Art Company, an art consultancy located in Mumbai. Guests are invited to indulge in six different dining options, including wine, antipasti and prohibition cocktails at Bar Uno; rustic Tuscan fare at Alba; authentic Indian cuisine at Spice Terrace; delectable baked goods and gourmet products at grab-and-go patisserie Bengaluru Baking Company (BBC). Tired travelers are invited to relax and unwind in the luxury Spa by JW, offering six different treatment rooms, a heated outdoor pool, casual Pool Bar and cabanas, and state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio.
