Accor Hotels took home a total of eight tourism awards across two separate awards evenings in Sydney and Canberra on 28 November.
At the NSW Tourism Awards in Sydney, the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains received both the Best Business Tourism and Best Deluxe Accommodation awards.
The hotel, which is now in its 25th year of operation, received $12 million worth of renovations to its guestrooms, public areas and facilities in 2012, and additional expansion plans including a new day spa are on the cards.
