France said there was a high prospect for French companies to invest in Bihar’s hospitality, education and power sectors after seeing the impressive growth of over 10% by Bihar.
At the end of his first three-day visit to the state, Francois Richier, the French Ambassador told reporters that there are colossal prospects for French companies to impress its economic presence in Bihar in the hospitality, education and power sectors.
Currently, French investment in India stands at USD 18 billion. Around 350 French companies in automobile, manufacturing, cement, beauty products and mechanical engineering had heavy investments in states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and NCR.
