The Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur has been conferred with the National Tourism Award 2012-2013 by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in the 5-star deluxe category.
The award was presented by Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Shashi Tharoor. "We are delighted that Taj Lake Palace has been recognized as India's best 5-star deluxe hotel. This achievement reaffirms our commitment to delivering superlative luxury service experiences to our guests across all our hotels," said the hospitality major's managing director, Raymond Bickson.
