Engagement of Consultant (Guest House) on contractual basis
IGNOU invites applications for engagement of Consultant (Guest House) purely on contractual basis
initially for a period of six months and extendable further on satisfactory performance, as per
University norms at its Headquarters located in New Delhi.
Name of Post : Consultant No. of Post : 01 Remuneration : ` 30,000/- per month consolidated Age Limit : 65 years maximum relaxable in deserving cases Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience: 3 years degree preferably in Hospitality/Hotel Management etc. Knowledge and experience of working on hospitality software that includes Room & Kitchen inventory. Minimum 10 years experience of working in the Front office, Catering, Guest Relations etc. out of which 5 years of experience in a reputed 3 star hotels. Desirable: Experience as Manager of 45 rooms establishment. Working knowledge of accounts, hospitality, skills and banquets. Working experience in a restaurant or catering service. Job profile: To look after the accommodation management, kitchen, food preparation, ensure the quality of food, house-keeping of entire guest house complex, Guest Relations and having good communication skills in English and Hindi. Mode of Selection: Through Interview only. Medical Fitness: Applicant shall produce a medical fitness certificate to the effect that he/she did not suffer from any infectious disease for the last three years. IGNOU reserves the right to relax any qualification/experience prescribed for the post.
