Brigade Hospitality Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of real estate developer Brigade Enterprises, is expanding its foot print by opening eight new hotels in Southern India over the next five years.
The hospitality arm of the Bangalore-based Brigade Enterprises, the Rs 940 crore listed company, plans to invest Rs 750 crore in five and three star hotels to be managed by international operators.
“We are very bullish on hospitality sector in India. Over the next five-seven years, the flow of both domestic and international tourists will increase considerably to fuel hotel growth in the country,” Nirupa Shankar, director at Brigade Hospitality Services told Financial Chronicle.
