More than 100 key midmarket hotels are on the block today. "There are more than 100 hotels, across all tiers and pan-India, that are considering exit options through partial or total sales of their equity holdings," says Mandeep S Lamba, managing director of the hotels and hospitality group of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a real estate consultancy.
"We have investment sales mandates for about 10 hotels, which include mid, upscale and upper-upscale properties."
