Anyone seeking a career in the hospitality industry can now get a head start, thanks to a new program offered through Goodwill.
Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina and the Intercontinental Hotel Group are partnering together for the job shadow program to give participants a unique opportunity to learn firsthand. It also allows hotel executives to observe potential employees. Goodwill Skills Training Coordinator Kimberly Stowe says, " It's a win/win for everyone." The experience is three hours long and includes an employer assessment or feedback to the participant.
To register, or for more information, contact Stephanie Rerych, Skills Training & IHG Recruiter at (828) 298-9023, extension 1106. You can also visit the Goodwill Career Center, located at 1616 Patton Avenue in Asheville.
