VCI Hospitality Limited, a hospitality sales and marketing company, is set to launch its luxury hotel, 'Indus Hotels & Spa' in Jalandhar, Punjab. It will open by April 2008 with an investment of Rs 45 crore.Spread over 17 acres, the property has 51 rooms and 48 cottages.
"Indus Hotels & Spa will be owned, managed and branded by VCI Hospitality. The hotel is located on the Ludhiana-Jalandhar highway," says Vijay K Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, VCI Hospitality Limited.Targeted at the corporate and NRIs, VCI Hospitality plans to launch the property phase wise; the cottages will be operational only by October 2008. Amenities include three speciality restaurants, a pub and lounge, spa, gymnasium and therapy rooms. The group also plans to build half a dozen luxury hotels across India in the next three to five years. Goa, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Amritsar are on the priority list.
