OpenTable is the leading supplier of reservation, table management and guest management software for restaurants. In addition, the company operates www.opentable.com, the world’s most popular website for making restaurant reservations online.
Editor| The company made $41.3 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2008. They make money by subscription and per-reservation fee.
What is interesting though is that India is still not covered. Now I looked up the web and couldn't find any site like this in India (arzoo.com launched a product in 2007 that doesn't seem to exist anymore)
If the reservation process can be outsourced & revenue management systems put in place, this could be an awesome idea! any takers?
