Indian Hotels Company, Hyatt, Mariott, Oberoi, Four Seasons, Le Meridien and Leela have been proactive by stepping up all hygiene-related measures. Among these are employee education about the virus, checking food handlers and specific operational procedures like having adequate stocks of masks and gloves if there are any cases of swine flu. Across the world, hotels are monitoring the situation closely and following the advice issued by the World Health Organisation and other global health entities.
