NEWS| MoT’s ‘Hunar se Rojgar’ programme pass outs to be taken in by six hotels in Delhi

Six luxury hotels in Delhi- Oberoi, Taj, The Park, Crowne Plaza, ITC Maurya and Lalit have agreed to induct people who have completed the ‘Hunar se Rojgar’ programme launched by the Ministry of Tourism (MoT).

Each of these hotels will induct ten candidates each from Food Production and F&B Service disciplines in their hotels. As per government officials, efforts were on to pool in more hotels.

‘Hunar se Rojgar’ programme was recently launched by MoT to create employable skills in the hospitality sector under the Capacity Building Scheme of MoT. The programme envisages eight and six weeks training in Food Production and F&B Service disciplines. These programmes have been launched simultaneously through 25 Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) in the country by MoT, as a remedy to the existing skilled manpower shortage in the industry.
