The primary responsibility of the Executive Director of Revenue management is to develop strategies & make recommendations to maximize room revenues, food and beverage, casino and other revenues for The Venetian | The Palazzo Resort.
Responsibilities of this position include:
•Develop and utilize revenue management systems and tools to evaluate all potential business to ensure that revenue and profits are maximized.
•Continually review mix of group, casino, wholesale and transient suites business to determine optimums within each week throughout the year.
•Develop and maintain the rate positioning strategy for all segments.
•Provide rate recommendations on a daily basis.
•Serve as an inventory and restriction adviser to all senior management and all Sales Managers.
•Maintain monthly hotel revenue and occupancy forecasts for all segments of business.
•Responsible for overseeing all operations of the Shift Managers, Training Manager, Assistant Director of Resort Services and the Resort Services Agents. This includes establishing departmental rules and guidelines, service standards, quality assurance, training strategy, and selling strategy.
•Responsible for overseeing the departmental labor and operational costs and keeping these costs within the departmental budget.
•Researches and implements new technologies that will increase the efficiency of LMS, Audience View, and Passkey. Work with these vendors to develop enhancements and interfaces to maximize agent productivity.
•Responsible for working with Strategic Marketing, Casino Marketing, Entertainment, and the F&B Outlets to ensure the proper execution of packages, direct mail offerings, e-mail blasts, and other promotions that result in guests calling into Resort Services.
QUALIFICATIONS
SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1.Must have a 4 year college degree in Business or other related subject. Masters degree is preferred.
2.Must have at least 5 years operational experience in a large luxury Resort. A minimum of two years at a Casino in Las Vegas is preferred.
3.Must have extensive knowledge in quantitative methods and finance.
4.Must have the ability to conduct market studies and competitive analysis; be a strategic thinker & analytical; possess strong organizational skills; work with minimal supervision, follow directions thoroughly; respect deadlines and punctuality.
5.Must be computer literate and be able to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and Internet.
6.Prefer working experience in Ideas, LMS, Delphi, ACSC.
7.Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in management of luxury hotel reservations call center.
8.Excellent customer service skills along with excellent team member relations skills and self motivated.
9.Labor forecasting experience preferred.
10.Must be able to manage the department’s payroll and staffing levels in accordance with the staffing budget.
11.Must maintain departmental service levels as defined by Mobil and AAA (5 star, 5 diamond).
