IHM Bangalore with NCHMCT organises programme on Food & Beverage Management

Executive Development Centre at IHM Bangalore in collaboration with National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, recently organised a residential Faculty Development Programme on Food & Beverage Management. The participants were faculty from various Institutes of Hotel Management across India.


According to a press release, the programme was inaugurated by Vinay Luthra, Managing Director, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation. The gathering was welcomed by Vasundhara Dharmaraaj, Dean and Director─in─charge, IHM Bangalore.

The inauguration was followed up by a session on Good Practices in Food & Beverage Service by Rohit Mallick, Training Manager, ITC Royal Gardenia. Krishna Shanta Kumar, General Manager, Ivory Towers, spoke about Break Even Point and Ratio Analysis in the continued session. Chef Abhijit Saha, Proprietor/ Executive Chef cum F&B Manager for Caperberry Restaurant spoke on modern menu merchandising concepts.
