Our client is managing an international hotel company and is looking for their Hobart property for an Executive Chef to lead and manage all kitchen operation. The kitchen is managing a very busy conference centre, room service and all day dining restaurant.
Managing a dedicated brigade, your main responsibilities will be the impeccable service and quality of food and to ensure a positive staff environment.
Specifications:
* Minimum 12 years kitchen experience within leading function kitchens
* Corporate hotel kitchen background essential
* Proven background in managing brigades & general administration
* Strong technical skills combined well advanced organizational abilities
* Strong detailed eye to production and presentation
* Able to promote positive working environment
* Flexible personality, good motivator and eye for details
* Great communication skills, able to give clear direction
* Coaching and training abilities
