Centrally located in Canberra’s CBD, this hotel, part of a leading Australian hotel group, offers 200 rooms, a business centre, health centre room service, a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and finally conference and events facilities for up to 200 guests, ideal for business conference or weddings.
The restaurant offers a creative, modern Australian cuisine. We are now looking for a strong head chef to lead and manage the brigade of 5 qualified chefs, able to design new menus for the A La Carte Restaurants and Functions, manage the food cost, ordering, menu planning, and increase the food and beverage revenue. You will report directly to the General Manager and liaise with the restaurant and conference manager. Your background will preferably include a previous head chef experience in a similar property or you are a strong sous chef ready for the next step.
