A Saudi prince had been found guilty of murdering his servant at the Landmark hotel (pictured) in London.
Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud will be sentenced tomorrow for the murder of Bandar Abdulaziz, 32, on 15 February 2010.
He denied murdering Abdulaziz, but admitted manslaughter in their suite of the five-star hotel.
The Old Bailey heard that the assault had a "sexual element" and that Al Saud, 34, had attacked the servant many times before. He had been drinking Champagne and cocktails when he bit Abdulaziz on both cheeks during the attack on 15 February, after returning from a Valentine's Day night out.
The prince claimed that Abdulaziz had been attacked and robbed in Edgware Road, London, a few weeks before and that when he woke in the afternoon of 15 February he could not revive Abdulaziz.
The court heard that if he ever returned to Saudi Arabia, Al Saud faced the possibility of execution - not because of the murder, but because homosexuality is a capital offence in his home country.
