Te New Delhi, a 24─room boutique hotel set up by two young entrepreneurial siblings – Gautam Thapar and Arjun Thapar – has commenced operations at Pamposh Enclave on Outer Ring Road in New Delhi. The facility, which is unique in its design and in room facilities, boasts of being the first hotel in Asia to have the costliest beds from Hästens in all the 24 rooms.
The Te New Delhi is also the first hotel to install a Siemens lift, and experiment an LED screen façade, which can display various shades and colours at night.
Speaking to Hospitality Biz, Gautam Thapar and Arjun Thapar said that the property has been designed on a 'life style' concept to cater to the luxury─loving, well travelled guests who look for 'good sleep'. The hotel will be adding more facilities including a meeting and conferencing space, small health club and a swimming pool on the terrace. Considering the captive corporate market, Te New Delhi will be extending free Wi─Fi, laptop on demand, free secretarial services for guests.
