BAKU, AZERBAIJAN Jumeirah Group announces the second property under its new Venu Hotels lifestyle brand.
The 190-key Venu Bilgah Hotel will open on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Baku, Azerbaijan, next year. The hotel, which marks the debut of Jumeirah Group in the former Soviet republic of Azerbaijan, is owned by Azinco Holding Co.
Designed by local architect Nazim Valley, Venu Bilgah features wavelike architecture in the style of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai. The hotel includes an all-day dining restaurant and bar, two rooftop restaurants and bars, a spa with traditional Turkish and Finnish baths, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a conference centre.
Venu Bilgah is the second hotel to be announced under the Venu flag, joining Venu Himalayas Hotel Shanghai. Jumeirah’s Venu brand promises intuitive and engaging service that connects guests with the “local soul” of the surrounding region.
