A leading company in the Maldives is looking for a Head of Learning & Development. Successful candidate will be responsible for executing the entire training process, needs assessment, development and/or outsourcing of training programs, including content, delivering of training programs and evaluation of effectiveness of training.
Primary function of the role is to:
• Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of a skills inventory to assist in human resource planning and identification of learning needs.
• Develop and customize activities to ensure participant engagement and knowledge retention.
• Design and support Future Leaders Development program.
• Research and recommend a complement of internal and external learning programs that align with the organizations business objectives and employee needs.
• To lead in maintaining the company’s mentoring program, acting as the primary contact for employees and managers.
• Work directly with business leaders to define and coordinate customized programs based on their group’s needs.
• Contribution & Advice on learning and development strategy, in line with best practice and the latest developments in the field
• Co-facilitation of programs with external training and development providers.
• Develop and deliver management information reports to track and benchmark learning and development participation, costs, benefits, etc.
• Assist in managing external vendor relationships.
• Assist with new employee orientation.
