Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc has signed an agreement with Bina Buana Sarana to develop The Westin Ubud Resort & Spa, which is located on the Indonesian island of Bali in Ubud District. The 107─room hotel is scheduled to open in Quarter Four of 2012.
According to the company release, the resort will have four restaurants and bars. Besides, there will be state─of─the─art equipment and a full service Spa, which will offer a variety of personalised treatments for complete rejuvenation. The hotel will also feature an outdoor swimming pool.
Chuck Abbott, Regional Vice President – South East Asia, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Asia Pacific said, “We are delighted to strengthen our presence in Indonesia with the signing of The Westin Ubud Resort & Spa, our sixth hotel in Bali. This will be an attractive and complementary alternative destination to our existing beach front properties. We indeed look forward to work in partnership with Bina Buana Sarana to further expand Starwood's presence in Bali.
