Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Management AG plans to add up to 27 new hotels to its portfolio in North Africa and the Sub-Saharan region.
CEO Jean Gabriel Peres tells Zurich newspaper SonntagsZeitung that the firm aims to add 12 to 15 management contracts in North Africa, including Egypt, along with another dozen or so hotel deals south of the Sahara Desert.
Mövenpick currently manages 16 hotels on the continent.
