Swiss hospitality major Movenpick Hotels and Resorts is in advanced talks to set up resort hotels in Udaipur and Jaipur.
“When finalised in a couple of months, these hotels (Udaipur and Jaipur) will be open for business in less than three years,” Biswajit Chakraborty, General Manager, Movenpick Bangalore, said.
“In India, company has a deliberate policy to manage hotels (not less than 30 years old) and not own the properties we operate,” he added.Movenpick plans to open its first resort hotel in the country at Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh later this year.
