According to a report in The Times of India, realty firm Galaxy Group, plans to invest nearly Rs 100 crore to construct four hotels in Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. Galaxy Hotels and Resort, a group company floated for hospitality business, has also acquired three acres of land at Kumbhalgarh in Rajasthan for a three─star hotel.
The 25─room hotel would cost around 15 crore. A three─star hotel in Bhat near Gandhinagar and a four─star resort on the bank of River Vatrak near Dahegam would also come up at an investment of Rs 30 crore.
Uday Bhatt, Chairman, Galaxy Group said, “Diversifying into other businesses seems profitable in future as the move will ensure regular returns. As part of the strategic decision to have footprints outside Gujarat, we are developing a four─star hotel on the outskirts of Manali towards Rohtang Pass at an estimated investment of Rs 25 crore.”
