The hotel is situated at the gateway to the Andes mountain sanctuary Machu Picchu. The 153-room property will feature customized design built around a colonial church and ancient Inca artifacts found on the site. It will also include a museum of prominent artefacts, many of which will be preserved in-situ.
The JW Cusco hotel will be built at an elevation of 11,200 feet above sea level, making it the first Marriott hotel to have an in-room supplemental oxygen system in all rooms to relieve altitude sickness.
JW Cusco Restaurant IncaWall will be featured in the hotel which will offer a distinctly colonial feel. All 153 rooms and suites will be equipped with bedding and bathrooms with soaking tub and separate shower, as well as the latest in-room technology. A lobby lounge, a restaurant, and spa treatment rooms are additional features of the hotel.
