ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
•Minimum 7 years of experience within operational management or at least 2 years experience as an Area General Manager, preferably in a luxury setting
•Have a strong understanding of hotel operations and administration (include, budgeting, forecasting, human resources, sales & marketing)
•Must have the ability to understand global markets that affect the business of the hotel
•Excellent organizational skills
•Previous work experience of 2 years in Australia is preferred




Key Responsibilities - Vice President:
•Follows up on the hotels performance within the region and periodically checks and controls the hotels GOI, REVPAR and drop through goals
•Drives hotel and regional market places objectives in terms of revenue management, distribution, group planning and public relations activities
•Validates marketing & sales strategies to be implemented within the region ensuring they are consistent with the corporate and business unit action plans
•Develops and maintains a constructive and cooperative relationship with the other Accor brands within the region
•Develops and stimulates creativity and participation amongst Hotel General Managers in Human Resources Activities and Corporate Social Responsibility projects
•Is ultimately responsible for owner relations in the region while the Area General Managers and General Managers of each hotel remain the first point of contact
•Champions any major renovations taking place within the region and in collaboration with the Area General Managers and the General Managers, ensures that owners are aligned with Sofitel guidelines and the implementation of Sofitel standards

Key Responsibilities - Hotel:
•Owns and manages the relationship with the owner
•Is directly responsible for the sales and revenue management strategy of the hotel. Develops, recommends, implements and manages the hotel’s annual and long term operations, sales & marketing, capital, revenue, expense and profit goals to meet/exceed owner and corporate management expectations
•Ensures guest and employee satisfaction, while maintaining market competitiveness and exceptional financial performance
•Participates in community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promotes a positive image
•Must be an example of Sofitel Values, brand standards, and a champion of grooming and appearance guidelines
