In a bid to have a pan India presence, Bangkok-based Absolute Hotel Services (AHS), which provides hospitality services, consultancy and management plans to operate 400 rooms by end of 2011 across the country. However, the Group aims to have over 1000 rooms under its India portfolio by 2012. Currently, AHS operates The Chariot Resort and Spa Puri and Desertscape Jodhpur Resort in India.
Speaking exclusively with Hospitality Biz, S Shashidhar, VP Operations and Technical Services, Absolute Hotel Services India informed, "We look forward to providing our services to existing hotels and for greenfield projects. Moreover, we are opportunity driven rather than market driven to include the properties under AHS umbrella, it should match our brand standards. We shall not invest in properties neither we shall franchise the brand."
