Job Description
Director of Food and Beverage for a 442 Key Luxury Business Hotel located in Shanghai.
The role covers the overall business development and operational management of the following Food and Beverage Operations:
1. All Day Dining
2. Japanese Izakaya
3. Chinese restaurant
4. Bar
5. Lobby Lounge
6. Room Service
7. Meetings and Events Space (1 Ballroom, 11 Breakouts)
8. Outside catering services
The staff will be required to live in the hotel.
Desired Skills & Experience
The role requries:
At least 3-4 years as a Director of F&B within an International Branded 4-5 Star Hotel Property in China
Experience in the outlet concept types within the hotel
General South East Asian Cuisine Knowledge and Experience
Chinese Cuisine experience
Good Computing Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook 2003 onwards)
Bilingual a MUST factor (English and Mandarin)
Great service attitude
Ability to train staff with patience and clarity to Company requirements
Able to work dynamically with flexibilities to adapt to variuos working processes in China
Able to adapt to China's F&B industry or has relevant experience
Strong integrity and work ethics
Worked in an Asian dominated environment (Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, China)
Good at planning and coordination
Creative in Nature
Strong leadership skills
